What is Giclée printing ?
Giclée (pronounced zhee-KLAY) is a large format, museum grade archival printing method, using archival-quality pigment-based inks, which are printed onto a Hahnmuele 100% cotton rag paper.
Do you sell the originals of your artworks (outside of the ephemeral works) ?
Are the artworks signed ?
Any originals are signed by hand.
The limited edition prints are signed and numbered as well as titled.
Open edition prints are not signed but include my signature logo stamp and are marked with the day number and location. If the print you have selected is an open edition, it will be notated on the product page for that print.
Are the artworks framed ?
At this time - no. The prints are sold from the shop in an unframed format. If you do require framing, we can organise it, email me to discuss. Whilst I employ an archive qualified framer, any number of frames you may find in homeware or department stores will suit any of the prints.
How will my artwork be shipped ?
Your artwork will be packed with the utmost care to ensure its safe arrival to you. It will be interleaved with acid-free tissue paper, carefully rolled, covered with brown craft paper, secured, bubble wrapped and then placed into a heavy duty cardboard tube. We also photograph the artwork before it leaves the studio, as a form of quality control.
What are the shipping rates ?
Shipping rates for artworks are maximum fee of AU$15 for Australian orders and $25 for international orders. Australian orders are shipped via carbon neutral Sendle. International orders will be delivered via a trackable airmail service. Shipping is calculated at the checkout after you have entered a shipping address.
How long will it take ?
Gicleé prints are only made to order and will generally be dispatched with 14 business days of your order being placed. Prints are created to order by hand, and lead times will vary depending on current workload. If you have a deadline to meet, please email me to discuss and we will see if we can crack the whip.
What are the return policies?
If your order should arrive in a less than satisfactory condition (remembering we have photographed each print before it leaves the studio), please take a digital photo of the item and email me immediately. Please include your name and purchase number, and a brief description of the reason for the return. Your request will be processed in a timely manner and we will let you know as soon as your replacement print is under production or your refund is being processed.
Please, please choose carefully. The prints are only created/made to order. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.
If you have any doubts about making your selection, be it a colour or size query, don't hesitate to contact us.
If you have questions about a particular product or want to see it in person before purchasing, please get in touch, we are happy to try and help you do that. You can also visit the studio to view products prior to purchase, just email us and we will set up a mutually convenient time.
In the case of damaged goods, you must contact us within 3 days. If 3 days have passed since your goods were received and you have not been in contact, we are sorry, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
If the goods are faulty, we will cover the return postage cost and you can then choose between, a refund or exchange.
In some cases we could offer you an exchange, but you must contact us via email within 3 days ! of receiving your item.
If we agree to an exchange, the product must be in original condition and returned with all it's original packaging.
Return postage costs will be your responsibility, as will the postage costs of shipping your replacement item to you. This cost will vary depending on the item but will be quoted to you before reshipping.
*All reduced items and sale items are final and will not be able to be refunded or exchanged. We also do not refund for delays or changes in lead times for pre orders.
